Space tourism

We are at the beginning of a new era, the one that will enable space tourism. Jeff Bezos (CEO Amazon) and his company “Blue Origin” made several experimental launches of the New Shepard rocket. It’s a rocket equipped with a booster and a capsule above it that can hold up to six passengers. The booster rises up to 100 km of height then the capsule separates from the latter and stays for about 4 minutes above the Karman line allowing passengers to unlatch their seat belts and float in the vacuum. Subsequently, passengers return to their seats by fastening their belts and the capsule proceeds quickly to return, which is restrained by three parachutes, a few meters away from the ground, the retro-thrust will allow for a soft landing. At the same time, the booster will return to the ground and perform a smooth landing with the only engine, without any parachute. The mission is completed: the capsule and booster will be ready shortly for later reuse.
